Breakhead Food Pantry

Food is currently being collected to be donated to the local food pantries since there is a need in our community.  The food collected is donated to the Nutley Red Cross or the Nutley Family Service Bureau to help local families in need.

Breakhead Easter Baskets

Each year St. Paul's Church collects items to fill Easter baskets for local families in need.    Volunteers assemble the baskets for the families.  Each year the families are very grateful to receive the baskets!

Breakhead Yoga at St. Paul's

Suggested donation $5-$10 per class. Please check our calendar for exact meeting dates.

The Wednesday evening class is an active hour and a half class is appropriate for all levels of experience - from beginner to experienced. The focus of this class is on the connection between poses and using/transferring your own body weight in flow sequences highlighting the classic poses and sun salutations. Come dressed to be comfortable, to move, and to sweat. Please bring a yoga mat and towel if possible - but we have a select few community mats if needed!

For those seeking a more gentle, restorative class, please come try our Saturday morning level one from 11am until 12:30pm. Structural alignment and breathing techniques are the focus while holding poses, combined with an extended relaxation sequence. this class is good for beginners, for mobile seniors, those living with a physical disorder, and those going through a healing process.

Please check the St. Paul's online calendar for updates and notices for the yoga program.

Please feel free to pass the word on to friends and family! These classes are open to the community at large!

Breakhead Christmas Giving Tree

During the Christmas holidays, Saint Paul's receives a list from the Nutley Family Service Bureau containing items requested by needy families in town.  When the Christmas trees are put in the church, the outreach committee makes stars with the ages, gender, and wishes of the families.  The members of Saint Paul's congregation take the stars and purchase gifts for the families.  The gifts are placed under the Christmas trees in church.  About a week before Christmas, they are delivered to the Nutley Family Service Bureau.
